AWS Chatbot adds support for chatting about AWS resources with Amazon Q Developer in Microsoft Teams and Slack

We are excited to announce the general availability of Amazon Q Developer in AWS Chatbot, which provides answers to customers’ AWS resource related queries in Microsoft Teams and Slack.

When issues occur, customers need to quickly find relevant resources to troubleshoot issues. Customer can now ask questions in natural language in chat channels to list resources in AWS accounts, get specific resource details, and ask about related resources using Amazon Q Developer.

With Amazon Q Developer in AWS Chatbot, customers find AWS resources by typing “@aws show ec2 instances in running state in us-east-1” or “@aws what is the size of the auto scaling group XX in us-east-2?”

Get started with AWS Chatbot by visiting the Chatbot Console and by downloading the AWS Chatbot app from the Microsoft Teams marketplace or Slack App Directory.
