Starting today, compute optimized Amazon EC2 C6a and memory optimized Amazon EC2 R6a instances are now available in Asia Pacific (Hyderabad) region. C6a and R6a instances are powered by third-generation AMD EPYC processors with a maximum frequency of 3.6 GHz. C6a instances deliver up to 15% better price performance than comparable C5a instances, and R6a deliver up to 35% better price performance than comparable R5a instances. These instances are built on the AWS Nitro System, a combination of dedicated hardware and lightweight hypervisor that delivers practically all of the compute and memory resources of the host hardware to your instances for better overall performance and security.
With this additional region, C6a instances are available in the following AWS Regions: US East (Northern Virginia, Ohio), US West (Oregon, N. California), Asia Pacific (Hong Kong, Mumbai, Singapore, Sydney, Tokyo, Hyderabad), Canada (Central), Europe (Frankfurt, Ireland, London), and South America (Sao Paulo) and R6a instances are available in the following AWS Regions: US East (Northern Virginia, Ohio), US West (Oregon, N. California), Asia Pacific (Mumbai, Singapore, Sydney, Tokyo, Hyderabad), and Europe (Frankfurt, Ireland).
