AWS IoT TwinMaker makes it easier to create digital twins of real-world systems such as buildings, factories, and industrial equipment. Today, we are announcing the Dynamic Scene feature, which allows for the updating and rendering of 3D objects dynamically based on TwinMaker Entities and Knowledge Graph queries. This feature will make it easier for customers to create and update 3D scenes using Knowledge Graph queries.
Previously, customers had to manually edit scenes in the AWS console to make changes. With the Dynamic Scene feature, all 3D scene objects, settings, and data bindings are stored as entities in the Knowledge Graph. Now, customers can use Knowledge Graph queries to programmatically update the 3D scene and its structure when modifying existing assets, adding new assets, or adding new data overlays on recently installed sensors. End-users viewing these 3D scenes in their digital twin visualization applications will see the updates within 30 seconds.
TwinMaker Dynamic Scene feature is available in the following AWS Regions: US East (N. Virginia), US West (Oregon), Asia Pacific (Singapore), Asia Pacific (Sydney), Asia Pacific (Tokyo), Asia Pacific (Seoul), Asia Pacific (Mumbai), China (Beijing), Europe (Frankfurt), Europe (Ireland) and the AWS GovCloud (US-West) Region.
