This helps developers include the phone number request and registration processes into their own applications. SaaS application customers want their own phone numbers to send and receive SMS messages from. They view SMS phone numbers as an extension of their brand and strive for a consistent end-user experience where they send and receive messages from the same phone numbers and sender IDs each time.
